The Teak Garden Riverfront hotel gets points for location, but there are some downsides that need to be considered. Overall the rooms are relatively small and the sound-proofing between rooms is terrible. We were next to a family, and we heard the children non-stop. It was pretty terrible. Also, the breakfast had potential, but was not well looked after as large groups grazed before us. And the generator (and the 80 db noise kicked in while we were eating). It’s too bad, as the service, riverside restaurant, and location are not bad. But the overall experience was a 3 star at best.

This place was great. We came for one night and ended up staying 5. Very relaxing. 2,300 Baht a night and had a jazzui room over looking the Mekong River. They have an Onsen which is like a large hot tub that is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The pool is great and has an awesome view. Right on the river promenade is perfect for walks. I highly recommend!

I should have booked online but my in laws who are Thai live in the city, decided to pre book our reservation in person for us. Online was listed for river view room for 1,015 baht per night that’s including tax and fee. When we got to the hotel the manager told us 2,500 baht per night. We reserved 2 rooms for 4 nights. I asked why is it much more expensive than online. Manager lady started speaking Thai to my husband and in-laws price online is wrong and doesn’t charge for tax and fees. We were not just one night customers but my husband didn’t want to argue with them so we stayed for 2,500 baht per night. The rooms are not great nor bad and like others said wall are super thin where you can hear everything. Checking out I asked for a receipt and front desk said we don’t have receipts. I have never been to a hotel that doesn’t provide receipts. I was just over it at this point. No point of arguing with people who doesn’t care nor understand. Always book online is the lesson here.

All employees are lovely.Each serving of food at the restaurant is quite large.The onsen is clean and nice to use. There are towels provided.Book a river view room The staff recommends buying Baht bombs at the reception for 80 baht each. It smells great and foams just as you want.

A great option on the river. Tower rooms are newer. Resort side is older, but bigger with bigger balconies. Try the river view. Check-in staff should be very comfortable in English.
